Calendar
There are many places for connection throughout the week. We see Coopers Edge Community Church like a jigsaw, made up of lots of different pieces. Some pieces happen on a Sunday and some pieces happen at other points in the week!
Each week can look different and so a monthly pattern is the easiest way to get an overall picture of what the Church looks like. We aim to find a rhythm and pattern that works for people at different life stages, for shift workers and for those in the general chaos of life! On the first Sunday of the month we come together as a whole community (joining together the pieces) at our GATHER celebration!
What happens on a Sunday?
We gather on the 1st Sunday for all-community worship and shared meals at the community centre, and Connect Groups on the 2nd and 4th Sundays in homes around Coopers Edge.
What happens mid-week?
– 3rd Tuesday of the month- Prayer Meeting – 7.45-9pm – various houses round the Estate
– Every Wednesday (term-time) – 9.30-11am – The Ark Toddler Group
– 2nd Saturday of the month – Men’s Bible Study – 8.30-10am @ The Vicarage
– 3rd Saturday of the month- Women’s Bible Study – 8.30-10am @ The Vicarage
What’s happening over summer?
– Sunday 14th July- 1.30-3.30pm- Community Fun Day (location TBC)
– Every Wednesday in August- 9.30-11am- Family Fun Mornings (Community Center)
