The Coopers Edge Olympics!
Family Activities all based around the Olympics, throughout August. All the events happening at Coopers Edge Community Center
At the track - Monday Sports Camp
Monday 5th, 12th and 19th, 2-3.30pm
Let the kids burn off some energy and have lots of fun trying out sports played all around the world!
Parents and carers are welcome to get involved or enjoy a sit down with a cup of coffee whilst watching the organised chaos unfold!
These sessions are aimed at primary aged children but younger and older siblings welcome.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or carer and remain the responsibility of their responsible adult at all times.
Suggested Donation of £2 per family, per session.
The Athletes Village/ Wednesday Family Activity Session
Wednesday 7th, 14th, 21st, 11-1pm
Coopers Edge Community Centre
Join us at Coopers Edge Community Centre for lots of Olympic themed fun!
The first hour will be an activity based around the Olympics. We will then have a short break and hear a story from the Bible before our second hour, where the hall will be filled with toys, crafts and games. There will also be a simple buffet lunch for families to enjoy together.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or carer and remain the responsibility of their responsible adult at all times.
Wednesday 7th - The Opening Ceremony
We will kick off our Olympics in style!! For our first hour together we will be having a giant action packed children’s party put on by Phil of Cotswold Children’s Parties. With over 10 years experience as Children’s Entertainer, Phil is sure to provide an action packed party that children (and adults!) will never forget!

Wednesday 14th - Olympic Try Out
For our first hour together we will be trying out lots of different Olympic Sports with the team from The Armoury Gym! Bring you trainers and get ready for lots of fun and laughs.
Suggested donation £2 per family.
Wednesday 21st - Olympic Crafts
On our final Wednesday it is time to get crafty as we do crafts based all around the Olympics! As part of this session we will be working together on a big community craft project!

The Closing Ceremony
Sunday 1st September, 4pm
Join us as we celebrate all that has happened at the Coopers Edge Olympics over summer. We will have a short celebration (where children will be presented with their medals) and end with a chippy tea together. Please sign up so we have your food order!
